01 Who can apply?
Eko Flavours is open to passionate culinary talents between the ages of 18 and 35.
Whether you’re a home cook, aspiring chef, professional chef, culinary student, caterer, food entrepreneur or food content creator, if you have a passion for Nigerian cuisine and believe your talent deserves to be discovered, we encourage you to apply.
02 What are the eligibility requirements?
To apply, you must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen or a legal resident of Lagos State.
- Be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Reside in Lagos State.
- Be available for auditions, filming and all competition activities.
- Have a genuine passion for cooking and Nigerian cuisine.
03 Do I need formal culinary education to apply?
Formal culinary education is an advantage and forms part of our selection criteria. However, selection is holistic.
We’re looking for applicants who demonstrate exceptional culinary talent, creativity, passion for Nigerian cuisine, personality, entrepreneurial potential, cultural authenticity and the potential to grow.
04 Is there an application fee?
No.
Applying for Eko Flavours Season 3 is completely free.
05 What do I need to submit with my application?
Your application must include:
- A completed application form.
- A recent photograph.
- Photographs of dishes you have prepared.
- A one-minute video telling us why you deserve to become Nigeria’s next culinary star.
06 What should I include in my one-minute video?
Tell us:
- Who you are.
- What inspires your passion for Nigerian cuisine.
- Why you deserve to become Nigeria’s next culinary star.
- Why Eko Flavours should choose you.
Be creative. Be intentional. Be authentic.
Show us your personality, your passion and your potential.
You don’t need expensive equipment. A smartphone is enough. What matters is the effort, creativity and authenticity you bring to your story.
07 How will applicants be selected?
Applications will be assessed using the Eko Flavours contestant selection framework.
We’re looking for applicants who demonstrate:
- Culinary competence.
- Entrepreneurial potential.
- Digital influence and audience appeal.
- Cultural authenticity.
- Personality and television value.
- Growth potential.
Shortlisted applicants may be invited to auditions and further assessments.
08 What happens after I apply?
Our selection panel will review all completed applications.
Shortlisted applicants will be contacted and invited to the next stage of the competition.

10 Where do I apply and when do applications close?
Applications for Eko Flavours Season 3 open on 1 August 2026 and close on 1 September 2026.
All applications must be submitted through the official Eko Flavours application portal before the deadline.
Late applications will not be considered.
Don’t wait until the last minute. Submit your application early and give yourself enough time to prepare a compelling one-minute video.
