Nurturing Young Culinary Talents

Eko Flavours Junior is a flagship initiative of the Culinara Group, designed to discover and nurture young culinary talents across Lagos State. Building on the success of Eko Flavours Season 1, this edition targets children aged 10–13 across Lagos State.

The project combines culinary education, youthful creativity, family
engagement, and a nationwide media buzz, culminating in a grand finale live cook-off on Saturday July 26, 2025 at the Lagos Fresh Food Hub, Idi Oro Mushin Lagos.

A New Stage for Young Culinary Talent

The Next Chapter Begins

Following the success of our inaugural edition, Eko Flavours is proud to unveil its latest evolution, Eko Flavours Junior. This exciting new initiative brings the energy, creativity, and cultural celebration of our culinary contest directly to Lagos’ secondary schools. It's a bold move to inspire culinary passion early and give young talents a stage of their own.

A Competition with Purpose

Eko Flavours Junior isn’t just a school cooking challenge, it’s a structured program that fosters creativity, skill development, and teamwork among students. With expert-led guidance, themed challenges, and educational experiences, participants are encouraged to explore food as both an art form and a career path.

Core Objectives

The Eko Flavours Junior Edition aims to foster early interest in the culinary arts and food enterprise among secondary school students, while encouraging creativity, confidence, teamwork, and leadership. It also promotes healthy eating and food sustainability education, strengthening the integration of practical Home Economics into the school curriculum. Ultimately, the program is designed to showcase Lagos as a thriving hub for future food talent, not just in Nigeria, but across Africa.
