- Business challenge
- One challenge I hope Eko Flavours can help me overcome is breaking into a bigger culinary space. I have built my skills through years of hands-on experience, but I want the opportunity to gain greater exposure, challenge myself, learn from others and have my talent recognised
Culinary journey
My culinary journey started from my passion for cooking and learning through experience. I’ve worked in professional kitchens, where I developed my skills in Nigerian and contemporary cuisine, food preparation and quality control. I’m still learning, experimenting and growing as a cook.
Cooking inspiration
Nigerian food and our rich culture inspire me. I enjoy working with local ingredients, creating different flavours and seeing people enjoy what I prepare
Signature dish
My signature dish is Afang Soup. I love working with the rich flavours of Nigerian ingredients and creating a balanced soup with the right texture, seasoning and depth of flavour. I’ve developed my own approach to it while keeping the traditional character of the dish
Why I want to participate
I want to participate because I see Eko Flavours as an opportunity to challenge myself, showcase my cooking and grow as a culinary creative. I’ve built my skills through hands-on experience, and I’m ready to step outside my comfort zone, learn and share my passion for Nigerian food.
What winning would mean
Winning would mean more than the prize to me. It would be recognition of how far I’ve come, a chance to grow my culinary career and a platform to inspire others who, like me, have built their skills through experience and passion.
