Culinary journey

My culinary journey started from my passion for creating delicious and comforting meals for my friends and family, seeing the joy and satisfaction my food brings them. I decided to start selling it to them at a very cheap price soni can get enough money to cook in larger quantities. That was what grew into my online food business-Foodbasket9ja where I provide homemade meals , soups, lunch packs, event catering and private chefs services . Overtime I knew I need to be skillful with my craft, so I went to a culinary school - RED DISH CHRONICLES to improve my skills. My goal is to become the most sort after food brand and chef in the Nigeria and the world at large.

Cooking inspiration

My cooking is inspired by the joy of bringing people together through my delicious meals. I also love experimenting with ingredients and techniques to create another dish out of meals I don’t enjoy eating to something more fun and enjoyable.

Signature dish

My signature dish is what I call Bread Pocket. It’s a creative dish made from leftover bread I had sitting in my kitchen , considering I wasn’t a lover of eating bread so I wanted something fun and special out of the regular bread and eggs . It’s made of simple ingredients in the kitchen like sliced bread, bread crumbs , egg wash, chicken chunks and mayonnaise. I presented my signature dish in a competition I went for in November 2025 and it made me stand out and the judges asking for more.

Why I want to participate

I want to be a part of the Eko flavors contest because it is an opportunity to challenge myself, grow as a chef and as a food entrepreneur, to showcase my creativity and passion for Nigerian cuisine. I would also like to tell my story through food and showcase the richness of Nigerian flavours and became the next EKO FLAVOURS STAR CHEF .

What winning would mean

Winning would mean validation of my hardwork , passion and resilience as a passionate chef and food entrepreneur. It would give me more visibility to take my culinary journey and business to the next level.
Making my dreams become a reality .
