- Eko Flavours would challenge me to step outside my comfort zone, compete under pressure, showcase my creativity, and gain the confidence and exposure to take my culinary career further.
I want to move beyond simply being someone who can cook and become a chef whose creativity, story, and style are recognized. I believe Eko Flavours can be a platform that helps me make that transition.
Culinary journey
Obtained in the year 2023, had my internship with a chef that does private dining and it inspired me to teach myself to that. I love to try out afroinfused dishes more
Cooking inspiration
I just love to cook. I am a graduate of hospitality management and I decided to go into the culinary industry after years of working in the kitchen of hotels
Signature dish
I am very good or I love to cook Jollof rice, yam porridge, pasta, eforiro
Why I want to participate
I want to participate in this cooking competition because I see it as an opportunity to challenge myself, showcase my creativity, and demonstrate what I can do as a chef. I am passionate about African cuisine and love transforming familiar local ingredients into innovative and memorable dishes.
Most importantly, I want to step outside my comfort zone, test my limits, and prove to myself that I am capable of competing at a higher level in the culinary industry.
What winning would mean
Winning Eko Flavours is important to me because it would represent more than just a trophy or recognition. It would be a validation of my hard work, creativity, growth, and dedication to my craft as a chef.
It will also remind me that the years of learning, experimenting, taking risks, and believing in my vision have been worth it. I want to use that achievement as motivation to keep growing, keep creating, and inspire others through food.
