- It would also give me a platform to showcase my skills, receive valuable feedback, learn from other chefs, and gain recognition for my brand, Kodo’z D Lite. Most importantly, it could help me move from simply being a chef with passion to becoming a more established and recognised culinary entrepreneur.
Culinary journey
My culinary journey has been a beautiful journey of passion, growth, resilience, and self-discovery. From training at TFT Culinary Academy to becoming a professional chef, I’ve grown from a student into a chef and entrepreneur, turning my love for food into a purpose and a career.
Cooking inspiration
What inspired my cooking was my love for food, creativity, and the joy of making people happy through what I create. Over time, that passion grew into a dream of becoming a professional chef and building something of my own.
Signature dish
My signature dish is Afang Soup, but I make so many delicious meals that are truly mind-blowing. I love bringing out rich, authentic flavors in every dish I prepare, while adding my own special touch as a chef.
Why I want to participate
I want to participate in this competition because I see it as an opportunity to challenge myself, showcase my culinary skills, learn from other talented chefs, and grow both personally and professionally. I also want to represent my passion for cooking and prove that with dedication, creativity, and consistency, I can stand out.
What winning would mean
Winning would mean so much more than a trophy to me. It would be proof that all the hard work, sacrifices, challenges, and rebuilding I’ve gone through on my culinary journey were worth it. It would validate my growth from a culinary student to a professional chef and give me the confidence and platform to take my career and dream even further.
For me, winning would be a reminder that I didn’t give up on myself and that my story is only the beginning.
