- Business challenge
- One of my biggest challenges is taking my food business from a small, personally operated brand to a more established and scalable culinary business. I would love to gain greater industry exposure, learn from experienced culinary professionals and connect with people who can help me strengthen my business, refine my culinary skills and create sustainable opportunities for growth.
Culinary journey
My culinary journey started from a genuine love for creating food and experimenting in the kitchen. What began as something I enjoyed doing at home gradually grew into a food business and a platform where I share easy, delicious recipes with my audience. Today, cooking is both my creative outlet and my business, and I enjoy combining familiar Nigerian flavours with new ideas to create food that is exciting, accessible and memorable.
Cooking inspiration
I’m inspired by my audience and the idea of creating recipes that people can actually recreate at home. For me, food is a form of creativity, storytelling and connection.
Signature dish
My signature dish is my take on Nigerian native rice. I love the depth of flavour that comes from combining locally familiar ingredients, aromatic spices and properly cooked rice, while adding my own techniques and presentation to make it feel fresh and exciting.
Why I want to participate
I want to participate because I see Eko Flavours as an opportunity to challenge myself beyond the kitchen I’m familiar with and grow as a culinary creative. I also look forward to learning from other talented cooks, connecting with creatives and showcasing what I can do through food.
What winning would mean
Winning would mean much more to me than the title. It would be a validation of the years I’ve spent developing my skills, building my food business and sharing my creativity through food. It would give me the confidence and visibility to take my culinary journey to the next level, while creating new opportunities for my business and inspiring me to continue pushing myself creatively. Most importantly, it would remind me that the work I’ve put into turning my passion for food into something meaningful is worth it.
