Brining me out of my comfort zone to be able to showcase Nigerian cooking to the world because a dot of water of the Nigerian plate to the food ocean can create. A multiple ripple effect that can last longer

Culinary journey

So far it's been more than what I expected. Cooking to me isn't just about serving and eating food, it's about expressing myself and communicating with others through food. So that's what my journey has been like.

Cooking inspiration

What inspires my cooking is my love for food, and the desire to create something that people can enjoy and connect with. I’m also inspired by Nigerian ingredients and flavours because they allow me to explore new ideas while still keeping a connection to my roots. Every time I cook, I see it as an opportunity to create something different and express myself through food. And my ability to transform even the most little amount of ingredient into something edible and flavourful."Nothing Wasted'

Signature dish

Uziza infused Palm oil bechamel sauce, Palm wine pan seared fish and crpisy scent leave yam balls

Why I want to participate

Because I want not chanllge myself, learn more, improve and most of all get everyone to see and taste the beauty of my creative, without anything been a waste

What winning would mean

To me it would would be a reminder that my passion, creativity, hard work, and willingness to learn are taking me in the right direction. It would give me the confidence to believe even more in my ability as a young hospitality student and aspiring culinary professional. Winning would give deeper meaning to the theme “Nothing Wasted.” It would show me that every ingredient, every experience, every mistake, and every challenge can contribute to creating something valuable. I would carry that lesson for life and see it not just as an achievement but as a responsibility.
