Business challenge
It will help me overcome not challenging myself and fear of failure. Because actually , this is not all about winning it's about growth and prepares one for the future professions in culinary field.

Culinary journey

I'm currently schooling in Lagoon Institute of Hospitality studies . I thought it was just a culinary school not knowing is hospitality school in general which makes it more encouraging and interesting .

Cooking inspiration

The appearance of what I want to create, the image of the plating makes me to create a particular dish that's suits it. Other people's cuisine can also inspire me to do the same in a different way.

Signature dish

Afro verde which the originated name is arroz verde(green rice). The main ingredient is cilantro, green bell peppers, black pepper and other seasoning. But when I made it in my exam I used scent leaf, green bell peppers, and uziza seed as the main ingredient , so it still gives it the greenish colour and unique flavour and taste, even though not as green as the main arroz verde. It's a Mexican dish.

Why I want to participate

First of all, I want to participate in order to learn, challenge myself, gain lasting experience, see how competitive environment looks like, see what am capable of and my weakness in culinary field and most of all learn my greatest mistakes and to manage ingredients and time better.

What winning would mean

Winning will make me know that I can do what I think am not capable of, it will encourage me to go for other culinary event without holding back. Winning will mean a whole lot to me .
