- Eko flavours will help me to overcome self doubt and failure being a young chef ,it will also help me to gain more experience and learn from other chefs through corrections and other higher chefs cookings ,it will help me to overcome limited exposure and gain opportunities and also I believe Eko colors will help me build my passion for food more.
Culinary journey
Started as a young girl living with my aunty who's a mini bar owner and makes different Nigerian fast food ,learnt making different foods from her and being a person that loves cooking, by God's grace I was awarded a scholarship to come study culinary in Lagoon institute of hospitality studies and this mean time, I have really grown so much passion for cooking, I really love cooking and garnishing foods a lot.
Cooking inspiration
Since childhood I really have passion for cooking, even when being chased out countless times from the kitchen by my aunty, I still went peeping, and again I'm really creative with making salad designs and fruits designs and while doing that, I made sure not to waste things or ingredients strictly inspected by my supervisor.
Signature dish
A signature dish I love so much is a dish that was taught to us by our food production teacher, by name Egwusi reduction with yam mash garnished with crispy ugu , I really loved that Afro fusion dish and I will continue to keep making it .
Why I want to participate
My sole aim for participating in this competition is to really gain experience on how culinary competition looks like, learning techniques and other dishes from other chefs or top chefs.
What winning would mean
Winning will really mean a lot to me but I don't think am worth it compare to the experienced chefs coming, just really want to gain experience and learn.
