- Eko Flavour will help me overcome challenges such as lack of confidence, limited competition experience, and working under pressure. As a chef in training, I want to challenge myself, improve my creativity and presentation, learn from other culinary professionals, and develop the confidence and skills I need to grow into a successful chef.
Culinary journey
My culinary journey is a journey of passion, learning, creativity, and continuous growth. I started with a strong interest in cooking and gradually developed that interest into a serious ambition to become a professional chef.
Through my culinary studies and practical experiences, I have been learning different cooking techniques, food safety, food costing, kitchen operations, food presentation, and the importance of teamwork in a professional kitchen. Every new recipe, practical session, examination, and experience has helped me understand that being a chef is not just about preparing food, it is about discipline, creativity, consistency, and the ability to perform under pressure.I have also challenged myself to explore different areas of the hospitality industry and understand how they connect to my career as a chef. These experiences have helped me become more confident and open minded about the opportunities available in the culinary world.I am still growing, but I am committed to improving my skills, discovering my own culinary identity, and creating food that people can remember.
