Culinary journey
My culinary journey began with a curiosity about food and has grown into a passion for creating intentional, beautiful dishes. Throughout my culinary training, I’ve developed my skills in Continental cuisine, pastry and fine dining, while learning to express my Nigerian roots through modern cooking.
Cooking inspiration
I’m inspired by Nigerian ingredients, our rich food culture and the endless possibilities of transforming familiar flavours into something unexpected, modern and memorable.
Signature dish
My signature dish is Egusi Bisque Pasta. A modern interpretation of the familiar Nigerian egusi soup. I developed it by transforming egusi and seafood flavours into a rich bisque and pairing it with homemade pasta. It represents my approach to cooking, taking something familiar and giving it a new identity.
Why I want to participate
I want to participate to challenge myself, grow as a chef, and showcase my creativity. I want to use Nigerian ingredients and flavours in new and exciting ways while learning from other talented chefs.
What winning would mean
Winning would mean more than a title to me. It would be recognition of my hard work, give me the opportunity to grow my confidence and exposure, and bring me closer to the chef I aspire to become.
